GENERAL INFORMATION
In the face of increasing threats of disease outbreaks and traumatic events, the public safety task force works with the Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency to support the surrounding community when in need. Police, firefighters, and medical personnel who respond to emergencies and protect community health are a vital part of the Lancaster County public safety system.
- Support the development and maintenance of the necessary infrastructure, services and programs to allow the County to appropriately respond to emergencies.
- Serve as a health advisory council and advocate for the Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency.
- Increase the County’s ability to respond to the needs of and support individuals who have been impacted by traumatic experience (past or present).
