Lancaster’s Air Quality Improves, Soot Pollution Still Ranks As One of Nation’s Worst

The level of ozone pollution, which is especially harmful to children, the elderly and the 55,000 residents with asthma, has fallen to barely passable levels here, according to the 2017 State of the Air report.
