Chipotle illness outbreak strikes again

August 17, 2018 - Written by: Janeen Maxwell

The latest Chipotle food-borne illness outbreak is the biggest outbreak yet by far in history. Nearly 700 people claimed they got sick at Powell, Ohio between the dates of July 26 and July 30. The symptoms included nausea, diarrhea, and fever.

“While this incident impacted only one restaurant, Chipotle Field Leadership will be retraining all restaurant employees nationwide beginning next week on food safety and wellness protocols,” states CEO Brian Niccol.
