Dr. Joseph Kontra retired in 2024 after 37 years in service to patients in Lancaster County. He served Lancaster County as Chief of Infectious Diseases, Hospital Epidemiologist for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, and Medical Director of the Microbiology laboratory at Penn Medicine LGH.
